Got to say- the best kebabs and family style platter we had a in a very long time. The rice were flavorful including the chicken, lamb, the veggies. And on top of that, the restaurant was very nice including the host who brought bunch of crayons for kids to get occupied. Will visit again when we are in town.

Went to LavShash with my wife for the first time tonight. We're big fans of Armenian food and initially assumed this would be similar, but this is certainly a different take on some of the dishes we love in the best way! We got a lule kebab plate and the meat was juicy and tender and paired with roasted veggies, rice, and raw onions. We also got the khachapurri which was delicious and the waiter let us know that's their specialty. We certainly see why! We were seated immediately and the waiter was extremely kind and attentive. We will be back!

Wow! Definitely a unique version of Mediterranean and kebabs. The place used to be Krave off of Colorado I came here for my nieces baptismal reception. The waiters and helpers were very welcoming and attentive. It was a feast! It turns out this is more Eastern European style food. From Ukraine? I really enjoyed the pizza type entree, and the family style food. The meats, rice, and potatoes were delightful A new fave spot! I'll come back again!

One of Old Town Pasadena's / Colorado Street's BEST kept secrets! LAVSHASH Kebab Restaurant has exceptional, personable service and serves up some of the best kebab and chicken soup in SoCal! The classy, modern interior is inviting and clean, and there is a heated patio, too! Ample parking is available in the nearby city structures.

My boyfriend passed by and we're excited to try this place because the interior looks stunning, for starters. Milos was our server and he was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. He went over the menu with us and made phenomenal recommendations. We tried the grilled vegetables, lamb chops, and meatball soup. If you like lentils, you'll love that soup. Good soup. Give a place a try if you're in the mood for fresh, clean, and well priced dishes that are comforting.

Thank you to our waitress Alina and the staff at LavShash. Everything was SO GOOD and I wish I could've eaten more. The Khachapuri was our favorite and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly with garlic and dill. We also enjoyed singing along to the music playing overhead and then as we were wrapping up, there was live music starting. Glad to have leftovers to go home with too. Can't wait to revisit this meal tomorrow or maybe later tonight. LOL

Lunch here was SO good. My friend and I each got the chicken wrap and were a little dubious when the menu said it came in a tortilla. Rest assured, it was actually a housemade wrap and it was SO GOOD! This is going to sound strange but the flavor reminded me of a meatball sub but without all the greasiness and cheese. It was just so satisfying and tasty. The service was slow and not particularly attentive. I ran out of water repeatedly even though the restaurant was not very busy. But the food was good enough that I'd definitely return and try something else. Definitely recommend that wrap! Comfortable, spacious ambiance.

This place is really solid! I got the lamb lule kebab, which was super tasty. But the highlight for me was the potatoes. It's relatively hard to totally mess up potatoes but it's also hard to do potatoes really well. And these potatoes were spot on -- cooked perfectly, not too oily, nicely seasoned, just great. The staff was also friendly and the prices were reasonable. Great spot overall.

First time here last night with my husband as I was craving Mediterranean food. Wow, the meal blew us away - absolutely the best we've had around town. Food we ordered: - Khachapuri (5/5): This is a must-get! I would describe it as a generous cheese-filled soft bread. Look at that cheese pull--how can this taste bad?! I finished my first slice in seconds. I could definitely eat more, but I didn't want to ruin my appetite for the entrée. It's best for sharing, as the two of us only ate half and took the rest home. - Beef Tenderloin Plate (5/5): I ordered it medium but then worried it might be overcooked or dry. Not at all! It came out so tender and flavorful, wow! I also loved the potatoes and butter rice that came with it. The potato was crispy on the outside but had a very creamy texture inside (how did they do that?!). I wish it came with more grilled veggies, though, as there was only a pepper and a tomato. The butter mixed in with the rice was heavenly! - Chicken Lule (4/5): My husband loved it--juicy and flavorful all around. I just don't prefer minced meat, but it was still delicious to me! Decor-wise, it was very modern and sleek looking. Pretty big space as well. We were surprised there were only a few tables occupied on a Friday night. I hope they get more and more business since the food is really amazing! Our server, William, was so attentive, friendly, and funny! We would definitely visit again!
